My recording microphone sounds hollow when i record?

Ok i have a condenser mic and a pop filter (circle thing that blocks off air).

I usually record it on my computer desk, but whenever i record, the results comes out hollow. Like my vocals and sound sounds metallic in a way.

What settings should i use to make this not happen? And what can you reccomend for me to get a higher studio quality? (Of course not studio quality itself, but i spent almost 300 in total for the mic and set and i do not want a hollow sound. Just a decent sound)

Also my mic is
