Is it okay to just stand by the laptop all the time?
Is it okay to just stand by the laptop all the time? I mean, you`ll just close it. Not choosing any options like "shut down", "hibernate" or whatever.
Thanks in advance. 
Most laptops are built so that there shouldn't be much risk or damage to keeping a laptop on standby most, or all of the time. Provided it is not running at full processor/RAM/GPU capacity too long (as in hours upon hours upon hours), it should be alright.
