Power Cable Adapter or Distribution Block?
I will run the 1 / 0 gauge electrical wire in my car. My amp only accepts 4 gauge. Is it better to run 1 whole way through and use the power cable adapter to fit the amp or run the gauge 1 to the block size distribution to the 4 wire output that? Let me repeat the question this. I have two amplifiers and two capacitors are thrown into the mix. I want to run 1 / 0, because the sub amp I would encourage rms 1200 4chan and I will drive 200. So I wonder if it would be better to run the measure 1 to a distro block gauges down to 4 so that the amp I receive a wire-like or to run one into the block distrubtion the output 1 / 0 and only the end cap and adapter cable with power cord that makes the connection 4.
Electronic basic rules: Eliminate as much as possible connections. If You use only one amp, it's better to use a single connector that reduces the size of the wire (or just cut down to fit) of adding two more connections (with block distribution).
