How do I play sound on my Keystation 88es MIDI on my computer?
I have read a lot about the new keyboard that I bought. I still can not play piano sound. Description of the piano is to say that all I need is a USB port, which comes with a piano. I'm just a little confused because I never had anything like this before. I want this piano so I could practice on it just because it is a big price for a piano key 88. I installed the drivers on my windows xp.now problem is, how can I get the piano to play music? Do I need to sound module? I need to buy extra stuff? This is what I bought:
My school have a smaller version of this so I might be able to help. first you need some sort of software that plays back MIDI: ex) finale, Sibelius, etc. The keyboard had to play through your computer as a MIDI input. You buy a MIDI keyboard. if you do not know, they are more for sequencing and stuff. if you want a keyboard just for practice, this is not the one for own. the reason it is a good price is because it is designed for workstations, something that sounds like you're not familiar with. sorry to deliver bad news, but You may want to send it back. This is actually the best keyboard that i found on amazon with a decent price. this what you will see spending, I'm sorry.
