Sweet Sixteen Ideas?
I'm a girl from the south. I want to have a sweet sixteen, but I'm not really into all the dresses and deejays. I want something along the lines of what y'all would consider redneck. I thought about maybe going four wheeler riding, but then I couldn't invite a whole bunch of people for safety reasons and keeping things under control. I'm not into cheesy party decorations either, so that means no balloons in shapes like little kids lol. I just can't find anything on the internet that would help me or give me any ideas.
The only thing I've come up with is flying my rebel flag, but I don't have a flagpole. :/
Ok....here is what my sweetsixteen party consisted up....Yep it was redneck as all get out. 
. I did fly my rebel flag. I tied it to a stick and dug a hole with post hole diggers and made my own flag pole. I had a huge bonfire and music. roasted weinies and marshmallows and just hung out with my friends all night. It was simple but it was great. If you want decorations. You could do hay bales for seats or even wooden stumps. I didn't have enough chairs so my grandpa cut up logs for seats. 
You could get a big wash tub and throw canned drinks in it...if you want a little more food have a cook out. Do burgers, bbq, or something like that. Use plain table clothes...or red/white or blue/white checked table clothes. It's your party you can decorate any way you want or not even at all. Good Luck and Happy sweet sixteen.
