What dio I need to make the Pro-tools M-Powered works?
Boyrfriend I always wanted a studio, so for her birthday I bought ProTools M-powered. I need to know what else I need so she can make some tracks. We have a computer for him to use, and I know I need the interface 410. What else do you need to make a track?
Cool! Lucky boyfriend ... I hope my wife will buy me my ProTools! Here's my first recommendation: buy this book - "Guide Musicians for Pro Tools "by John Keane. This is a good book for beginners and pros together (best price I've ever seen is at Amazon.com) and walks you through all the circle in simple language. I do not know what "410 interface", but I suspect you have a PC guy. I am a Macintosh user, so my head is in place different. It is important that he has enough processing power and he MUST have a second drive (internal or external). This book explains what is needed for maximum performance.
