Can't burn CD's/DVD's!!?
My PC worked fine, but due to a crash I had to reinstall Windows.....but now I can't burn CD/DVD, no matter which program I use, the files are copied to HDD instead of the DVD. The drive is recognized perfectely, all settings are OK, record device is OK....all configurations are OK. Example: Open Nero, select file, Nero shows all info correctly, but when I burn, the data is written to the HDD.....and Nero ( or any other program ) believes the DVD/CD was recorded ( of course, no information is written to the disc ). The only difference from my previous configurations is that know I see duplicate ATA/IDE controller in my Device Manager..... HELP PLEASE
Config Intel P4 2.4 , 512 RAM, 512 Video. Sony Q120 A DVD Burner, IDE/ATA 120GB drive and a secundary SATA 200GB
try uninstalling the non windows controller ... check the drivers of both ..
