For designers and artists? Wacom Intuos3 tablet pros cons?
I plan to buy Wacom Intuos3 6x8. Does anyone have anything to say about it, pros and cons? I am getting for $ 289.99, although the academic version (for students). Is it worth the price and whether there are differences between versions of student and professional versions. Also online, he said that it is cordless, does not mean that a wireless tablet pen itself or just wireless? Lastly, does anyone know if they would come out with intuos4 the near future?
I have one, I'm not sure whether academic or professional versions (do not know that they have a version), but I know that I really love it. It was worth every penny. It's hard to get used to at the beginning but once you get the hang of it everything becomes much easier. As for the situation without wires, the pen was wireless. I think it just means that you will not have a cable connecting it to your computer all the time, so it is more portable, which would be a big plus. I do not know anything about Intuos4 though, I am currently happy with my 3.
